Grey already?!?
So, along with the New Year, I rang in a grey hair. Yes people, I said a grey hair. I know you are all shocked at this knowing that I am much too young to have sprouted a grey hair already. The story goes like this..... I was doing my hair the other day and I had a 'fly-away hair' right on top of my head (you know the kind - they just stick straight up no matter how much you try to get them to lay down). It was a small 'hair' and was light colored (I thought blond, of course). In my frustration with this 'hair', I just decided to pull it. Pluck. Upon closer examination of his 'hair' I set it in my hand and it sure looked light. Really light. In fact, it was totally white (or grey as they say). "Is that a grey hair?" I asked myself. Remaining calm, I took it to Tony for his inspection - hoping he would reassure me it was in fact, not grey. "I think I just pulled a grey hair," I told him. He looks at the measly, little, ugly, grey hair in my hand and just says,"Oh." So, I have tried to not be too alarmed by this little discovery. My 'Happy New Year' surprise. Since the 'hair' pulling I have told Cody many times that he needs to be good so that mommy doesn't get any more grey hair. Let's keep this our little secret.

I found my first grey hair(s) (Yeah, I looked closer...dont do that!I found 3!?!?) on my birthday last month...Happy 31 LOL I called up my sister-in-law and got a hair appointment! (too bad its tomorrow and not LOTS earlier..)
Your hair is so blond and pretty, it will just look like highlights!
OK, now you are just making me jealous! I found my first grey hairs when I was 22! Now I have a whole forest of them.
Cute Kathy!! I've got plenty of them but they come in slowly enough that every once in a while, I have John do a full head check and pull any he sees.
Good luck with that!!
After seeing you Monday, I'm not worried!!! You are darling as ever!!! I love that Tony thought NO BIG DEAL!!! Such a guy comment!!! So glad I got to see you during my trip. Thanks for the great visit!
You should just let nature take its course. You are the older sister after all!! xoxo
I like to call my patch of grey as a Heavenly fashion highlight. It is right in the front for all the world to see. However, my stylist suggested a highlighter pen to cover it up if I can't get in when it starts showing. Thank goodness for great product.
As your kids get older, more grey!! Blame it all on the children!! Curfews, dating, cell phones, boyfriends!!!! Ugh, my dad's hair is all white, so --- yes, we were BAD kids!! :) Lisa
Honey - that's nothing! At least you have blond hair to camouflage it in. I have been plucking grey hair out for years. The invention of hair color is one we should all be thankful for:)
Not to worry..blonde hair always hides the grey better!
Hey Kathy! It's Michelle. FYI: I found my first grey hair about a year ago...at 21! I am taking after Patti, she started dying her hair at 20 because of greys (don't tell her I told you that, though). Ha ha. Oh the joys...
I found my first gray when I was sixteen. I have tons now, wait til you see me next. But I'm kind of proud of them and don't plan on doing anything to hide them (for now anyway)!
